Senior Urban Planner – Airport Cityside Development

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Planner to lead city‑side development for multiple airports, shaping sustainable, functional spaces that meet developer aspirations and community needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall urban planning framework for airport city‑side areas, ensuring alignment with the Employer’s vision and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate urban design principles to create sustainable, aesthetically appealing spaces, including mixed‑use developments, commercial hubs and community facilities.
• Conduct stakeholder consultations, coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors, and act as liaison between the Employer, developers and city authorities.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations and documentation for regulatory approvals and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure integration of transport, utilities and other essential infrastructure, and incorporate sustainability and environmental considerations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in urban planning or a related field (mandatory).
• 12–16 years of professional experience in urban planning and development, with proven experience in the aviation sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in large‑scale urban planning projects and city‑side airport development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS software.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience using SketchUp for urban design.
