Senior UI Engineer – Remote (Bangalore)

About the role

Britive is a cloud-native security startup delivering a modern privileged access management platform. We are seeking a passionate Senior UI Engineer to elevate our early-stage product and create compelling, user-friendly interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop rich web UI applications and reusable components using React and Redux.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into UI designs.
• Work with backend engineers to finalize API designs and integrate REST and GraphQL services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow UI engineers.

Required profile

• Strong design and creative skills to build visually appealing, user-centric interfaces.
• Positive “can-do” attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ready to hit the ground running and contribute from day one.

Required skills

• JavaScript, HTML, CSS development with React and Redux.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and integrating charting or reporting visualizations.
• Building UIs from mockups and working with graph data structures.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, or J2EE (nice to have).
• Understanding of AWS, DevOps practices, microservices architecture, and tools like InVision.
