Senior Technology Auditor

About the role

LegalZoom is seeking a Senior Auditor, Technology to join its global Internal Audit team. This remote position supports the Audit Committee by evaluating technology risks and the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the internal audit team in achieving departmental objectives and key results.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of technology‑driven internal controls, including Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) testing.
• Identify, assess, and document technology risks across the company’s product and technology organizations.
• Provide assurance on operational effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with U.S.‑based audit stakeholders, ensuring at least four hours of daily overlap with U.S. business hours.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in internal audit or technology risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication with global teams.
• Commitment to adhere to LegalZoom’s code of conduct, ethics, and audit policies.
