Senior Team Lead - A2R

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is expanding its Global Services hub in Bangalore and seeks a Senior Team Lead for the Account to Report (A2R) function. The role leads a team of analysts, ensures compliance with global finance standards, and drives process excellence across the finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute accounting and daily operations for A2R, ensuring timely period closing and adherence to SLA, compliance, internal audit and SOX requirements.
• Maintain internal controls, support auditors and legal authorities, and identify compliance risks with remediation plans.
• Attract, develop, and retain a high‑performing, diverse team; manage performance, succession planning and career development.
• Act as a trusted business partner, coordinate cross‑region/process alignment, and serve as Operational Key Contact or Subject Matter Expert when assigned.
• Generate and implement process improvement ideas, leveraging automation and global standards.

Required profile

• CA, ACA, ICWA, CPA, CMA or equivalent finance/accounting qualification (MBA preferred).
• 7‑10 years of finance experience, with 2‑3 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
• Experience in a global Account to Report function of a multinational company.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (ERP) and advanced Excel.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards.
• Digital/intelligent automation capabilities.
• Fluent English (additional languages desirable).
