Senior Supplier Performance Management Specialist

About the role

3M is seeking a senior specialist to lead supplier performance management for its Consumer Business Group in the Americas region. The role focuses on monitoring, analysing, and improving supplier metrics to ensure continuity and quality across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support supplier performance reviews, issue resolution and follow‑up actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with supply‑chain, procurement, planning, manufacturing and quality teams to address performance concerns.
• Prepare supplier scorecards, dashboards, review materials and performance reports.
• Track supplier issues, escalations and corrective‑action progress to support supply continuity.
• Execute improvement initiatives, maintain risk data and collaborate with strategic sourcing and packaging teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, supplier management, supply‑chain, manufacturing operations or quality.
• Experience with raw‑material or packaging‑material procurement and exposure to manufacturing processes such as coating, molding, assembly or packaging.
• Strong data‑analysis and problem‑solving abilities, with experience supporting supplier reviews and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional, global teams across different time zones.
