Senior Staff Engineer – Embedded Software Test and Automation

About the role
Lead verification and validation of medical device software, develop and maintain test automation suites, and guide a team of test engineers in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform unit, integration, and system verification of embedded software.
- Develop test automation frameworks using C/C++, Python and hardware test fixtures.
- Translate requirements into test designs and create verification plans.
- Lead a team, conduct code reviews, and document test processes.
- Collaborate with global R&D, system engineers, and developers to define test strategy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of embedded software development and verification experience, with leadership of test automation teams.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware analysis tools (oscilloscope, function generator, DMM, logic analyzer).
Required skills
- C, C++, Python
- Test fixture development and automation
- Version control (Perforce, GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Knowledge of Wi‑Fi, UART, SPI, I²C interfaces
