Senior Specialist – Travel & Expense Operations

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead global Travel & Expense (T&E) activities within its Global Business Solutions Center. The role focuses on delivering efficient, standardized processes across the Procure-to-Pay function and ensuring high‑quality service for internal customers.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the process lead for global T&E operations, standardising procedures across the shared services organisation.
• Oversee resolution of complex T&E and expense‑related inquiries, maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Manage day‑to‑day service delivery, driving process optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Partner with regional and business stakeholders to align with company policies, internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for expense reporting systems, supporting enhancements and issue resolution.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve cycle time, compliance and error rates.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading T&E or finance‑related processes in a global, shared‑services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to drive transformation initiatives and implement process improvements.
