About the role
Invesco is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Internal Audit function. You will join a global, collaborative team of auditors and data specialists, providing assurance, advisory, and investigative services across the organization. The role involves conducting audits, special reviews, investigations and delivering actionable insights to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to annual SOX scoping, maintain the SOX calendar, and update risk control matrices, process maps and test strategies.
- Lead audit walkthroughs, design and execute effectiveness testing, sampling, reperformance and control completeness checks.
- Produce high‑quality workpapers and conclusions that support auditor reliance.
- Utilise data analytics and automation to expand audit coverage and improve efficiency.
- Prepare audit results, conduct entry and exit meetings, and secure management responses.
- Communicate complex issues clearly and provide business‑focused insights.
Required profile
- Strong judgment and ability to interpret complex, sometimes contradictory information.
- Experience working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement of audit processes.
