Senior Specialist – Accounting (FX, IRD, Fixed Income & Equities)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Accounting to join the Corporate Controllers – COE Product Accounting team in Pune. The role focuses on product control for FX, IRD, Fixed Income & Equities and works closely with front‑office, technology and finance partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily P&L production, validation, analytical review and commentary for FX, IRD, Fixed Income & Equities and Capital Markets.
• Manage control environment including balance‑sheet substantiation, journal entries, trade and GL reconciliations, price testing and break investigations.
• Govern daily controls and month‑end close, reviewing SOX controls, independent price valuations, FX exposure, loan accounting and investment securities portfolio accounting.
• Collaborate with front office, technology, operations and finance teams to resolve issues and enhance processes.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in reporting and control processes.
• Participate in project and process improvement initiatives and work with global SMEs and overseas partners.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3‑5 years of product control experience.
• Deep understanding of financial products such as FX, IRD, Fixed Income and equity derivatives.
• Experience in a fast‑moving, highly controlled multinational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly self‑driven, detail‑oriented and capable of independent critical work review.

Required skills

• AI skills and familiarity with latest tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of front‑office, back‑office and financial systems.
