Senior Solutions Engineer

About the role

At Databricks you will use your technical expertise to demonstrate how the Data + AI Platform can solve complex data challenges. You will work with a collaborative, customer‑focused team that values innovation and creativity, helping customers achieve their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Form successful relationships with clients throughout your assigned territory, collaborating with an Account Executive and a Senior Solutions Architect to deliver technical and business value.
• Drive client excitement for Databricks through hands‑on evaluations, Spark programming, and integration with cloud ecosystems and third‑party applications.
• Contribute to the Databricks technical community by presenting at workshops, seminars and meet‑ups.
• Act as a Big Data Analytics advisor on architecture and design, authoring reference architectures, how‑tos and demo applications.

Required profile

• Experience working directly with clients, shaping narratives, answering questions and delivering tangible outcomes.
• Ability to independently craft technical propositions, identify pain points and become a trusted advisor.
• Proficiency in a core programming language such as Python or SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Big Data Analytics concepts and exposure to advanced proofs‑of‑concept on a major public cloud platform.
• Hands‑on experience with solution architecture and Data Engineering.
