Senior Software Engineer - Secrets Management & IAM

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Secrets Management Platform team within the Identity & Access Management domain, you will design, build, and operate secure and scalable secrets management capabilities using HashiCorp Vault across hybrid cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy highly available HashiCorp Vault solutions across AWS, GCP and OpenShift, creating reusable integration patterns.
• Develop automation and self‑service capabilities using Python, Shell and Terraform, and produce architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Manage cloud deployments with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm), implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and telemetry.
• Drive platform reliability through upgrades, patching, backups, disaster recovery, runbook creation and incident triage.
• Implement IAM governance practices such as RBAC, least‑privilege and separation of duties, collaborating with security and GRC teams on audit and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and best‑practice guidance.

• Proven ability to design scalable, highly available services and to automate operational processes.
