Senior Software Engineer – .NET MAUI Mobile Apps

About the role

NIQ is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of the Nielsen Consumer Panel Mobile App. You will create cross‑platform experiences using .NET MAUI for iOS and Android, delivering features such as barcode scanning, surveys, notifications, localization, and feedback capture to a global user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cross‑platform mobile solutions with .NET MAUI.
• Build native iOS and Android experiences, integrating barcode scanning, push notifications, and analytics.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect, responsive UI across multiple device form factors.
• Integrate REST APIs, authentication frameworks, and third‑party SDKs.
• Manage App Store deployment, provisioning profiles, certificates, TestFlight, and release cycles.
• Own the full mobile lifecycle from requirements gathering through production support.
• Mentor a team of at least two mobile developers and drive technical design discussions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#.NET, and .NET MAUI.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building enterprise‑grade iOS applications with Android support.
• Proven experience with MVVM architecture, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and mobile design patterns.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Excellent debugging, performance optimisation, and memory‑management skills for both iOS and Android.
