Senior Software Engineer – High‑Ownership Role

About the role

Flagright is building an AI operating system for financial‑crime compliance used by Fortune‑500 firms, banks and fintechs. As a Senior Software Engineer you will own the design, development and scaling of the core infrastructure that powers the platform, working directly with founders and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Solve complex engineering problems quickly while maintaining high code quality.
• Deliver robust frontend and backend features under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with the founding team to create comprehensive interfaces for compliance and anti‑fraud primitives.
• Make pragmatic trade‑offs balancing customer experience, business goals and technical sustainability.
• Drive improvements that boost frontend productivity and API reliability.
• Own and innovate the development experience alongside teammates.
• Partner with designers to craft intuitive user experiences.
• Shape the direction of Flagright’s platform, services and engineering culture.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining high‑scale production systems.
• Proven ability to lead projects from design through implementation and maintenance.
• Resourceful, resilient and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Prefer ownership of outcomes over task‑list execution.
