Senior Software Engineer – Ecommerce SFCC

About the role

Chalhoub Group is seeking a senior engineer to design, build and operate enterprise ecommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware). The role involves hands‑on development, technical leadership and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, integrate and operate SFCC solutions using SFRA, ensuring high code quality and providing guidance to other engineers.
• Develop full‑stack functionality with JavaScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs and headless commerce.
• Maintain and extend ISML templates, OCAPI/SCAPI integrations, cartridges, jobs, services, Page Designer, Slots and Business Manager administration.
• Own unit, functional and regression testing, code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Provide deployment support, production issue resolution and CI/CD reliability, optimizing web performance, CDN and caching.
• Mentor engineers, support OMS/ERP/WMS and SFSC/SFMC integrations, and use Claude Code for AI‑assisted development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack ecommerce engineering experience, primarily on SFCC with SFRA.
• SFCC Architect Certificate and proven experience delivering SFCC site go‑live.
• Strong proficiency in ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI, cartridges, Page Designer, Slots, Business Manager and Einstein.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL, headless commerce, web performance, CDN/caching and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid testing, code‑review and troubleshooting skills with a mentoring capability.
• Experience with OMS/ERP/WMS, SFSC/SFMC integrations and familiarity with Claude Code.
