Senior Software Engineer – eCommerce (SFCC)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work hands‑on to design, build, test, integrate and operate enterprise e‑commerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) using the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). You will own complex implementations, ensure code quality and provide technical guidance to fellow engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, integrate and operate SFCC solutions using ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI, cartridges, jobs, services, Page Designer and Business Manager.
• Develop full‑stack functionality with JavaScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs and headless commerce.
• Maintain code quality through unit, functional and regression testing, code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Provide deployment support, production issue resolution and ensure release reliability across CI/CD pipelines, optimizing web performance and CDN/caching.
• Mentor other engineers, support OMS/ERP/WMS and SFSC/SFMC integrations, and use Claude Code for AI‑assisted development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on e‑commerce engineering experience, primarily on SFCC using SFRA.
• Strong proficiency in ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI, cartridges, Page Designer, Business Manager administration and Einstein, with experience taking SFCC sites live.
• Proven expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL, headless commerce, web performance, CDN/caching and CI/CD.
• SFCC Architect Certificate and experience with OMS/ERP/WMS and SFSC/SFMC integrations.
