Senior SMSF Accountant

About the role

Stake is looking for a Senior SMSF Accountant to join its Stake Super team in Pune. You will manage a growing portfolio of self‑managed superannuation fund (SMSF) customers, delivering high‑quality financial statements, tax returns and compliance obligations. The role is fully remote and offers ownership over the SMSF service delivery at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge annual financial statements, tax returns and regulatory obligations for a variety of SMSF structures.
• Maintain accuracy, timeliness and compliance across a growing client portfolio.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations and Accounting teams to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Build strong relationships with auditors, regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth fund administration.

Required profile

• Strong experience in SMSF administration and complex superannuation compliance.
• Customer‑focused mindset with excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
• Proactive ownership and a collaborative, high‑performing team attitude.
