Senior ServiceNow Software Technologist – AI & Automation

About the role

Philips is looking for a Senior Software Technologist to lead AI‑driven development on the ServiceNow platform. You will design, build, and optimise intelligent automation solutions that enhance IT, customer service, and HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure ServiceNow out‑of‑the‑box AI features such as Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, and AIOps.
• Design and develop custom AI‑enabled workflows using Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub, including integration of external ML models.
• Extend core ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, ITOM, HRSD) with AI capabilities while ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and custom connectors, including connections to external AI/ML services.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects and stakeholders to define AI use cases and support end‑to‑end delivery from design through deployment.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
• Proven track record delivering AI features on ServiceNow in production.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer).
• Experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, or AIOps.
• Solid experience building integrations using REST APIs and IntegrationHub.
• Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data model and platform architecture.
