Senior Security Engineer – IAM & Zero Trust

About the role

We are looking for a senior security engineer to lead the design, implementation and operation of Coupang’s enterprise identity infrastructure. The role focuses on Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) using Okta, Saviynt and SGNL, and bridges traditional IAM with modern Zero-Trust and continuous adaptive trust models.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain enterprise identity solutions across Okta, Saviynt and SGNL, including SSO, MFA, and Just-In-Time access policies.
• Configure and optimize Saviynt for access request workflows, role-based and attribute-based access control, and certification campaigns.
• Manage Okta lifecycle, Universal Directory, adaptive MFA, password-less authentication and directory integrations (AD/LDAP/HRIS).
• Develop custom connectors and automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, REST APIs) to integrate applications with the IAM platform.
• Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to investigate identity-related threats and enforce least-privilege principles.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
• Deep expertise in Okta (LCM, Universal Directory, Workflows, Adaptive MFA) and Saviynt Enterprise IGA.
• Practical experience with continuous authorization platforms such as SGNL or similar.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM and LDAP protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell or Bash and REST API integration.
