Senior Security Engineer (Hybrid, Delhi)

About the role

Conqr AI, an early‑stage AI startup focused on regulated, document‑heavy professional workflows, is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own security across its cloud, code, infrastructure, and compliance landscape. You will work in a hybrid setting in Delhi, partnering with engineering, DevOps, and ML teams to embed security throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee security for the entire infrastructure and codebase, including cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, proactively identifying and remediating system weaknesses.
• Strengthen data protection controls such as encryption, access management, audit logging, and secure hosting.
• Lead compliance initiatives for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR, supporting audit preparation and certification activities.
• Establish secure development practices, security review processes, and continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in security engineering.
• Proven ability to identify security risks across codebases, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience securing AI/ML systems is a plus.

Required skills

• Docker and Kubernetes security.
• SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management tools.
