Senior Sales Officer

About the role

As a Senior Sales Officer at Nestlé, you will bring trusted brands closer to consumers by ensuring product availability, building strong relationships with distributors, and shaping demand at the ground level. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain and distribution teams, using commercial acumen and market insights to achieve business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure product availability across all relevant channels.
• Plan and achieve monthly and yearly sales targets, setting targets for each distributor.
• Monitor distributor overhead expenses and profitability (ROI).
• Manage distribution setup and lead secondary sales force deployment.
• Implement trade and consumer activations, merchandising and visibility programs.
• Ensure distributor compliance with company-defined roles, processes and responsibilities.
• Execute sales, discount and trading terms accurately.
• Train, develop and evaluate the secondary sales force.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of field sales experience in FMCG/FMCD.
• Strong understanding of channel sales and distribution management.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong trade and distributor relationships.
• Proven experience in achieving business targets and driving execution.
• Good communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate secondary sales teams in dynamic environments.
