Senior Recruiter, GTM – Field Engineering (Contract)

About the role

Databricks is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead hiring for its go‑to‑market technical talent across India. You will own full‑cycle recruitment for Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers and Field Engineering leadership, helping the company scale its high‑growth Field Engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting for technical GTM roles, from outreach to offer acceptance.
• Partner with Field Engineering and Sales leaders to define sourcing strategies, market mapping and compensation positioning.
• Identify and engage passive, hard‑to‑reach technical talent and build robust pipelines that meet aggressive hiring targets.
• Use data and metrics to set benchmarks, drive workforce planning and continuously improve the hiring process.
• Champion a world‑class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Databricks.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting in software, data or AI, especially for technical GTM, pre‑sales or Field Engineering roles.
• Track record of scaling teams quickly in a high‑growth environment while maintaining high standards.
• High energy, grit and a bias for action; able to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑paced settings.
• Strong strategic partnership skills with senior stakeholders, backed by data‑driven insights.
• Creative, resourceful sourcing approach that goes beyond obvious channels.
