Senior R&D Engineer – Full-Stack Product Development

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join its PI Visualization product team in Bangalore. The role involves end-to-end delivery of medium-to-high complexity features, translating process-data use cases into reliable product behaviour while ensuring production safety through automated validation.

Key responsibilities

• Make high-impact technical decisions balancing scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability and business needs.
• Design, develop, test, debug and maintain new features and existing code across the full stack (C#/.NET, JavaScript, UI, jQuery).
• Deliver production-quality software on schedule, following CI/CD pipelines and AVEVA standards.
• Coordinate dependencies and integration with architecture, product owners and stakeholders to ensure technical alignment.
• Raise engineering quality and security through rigorous PR/design reviews and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to technical strategy via research spikes and long-term technology planning.
• Mentor junior engineers, coach peers and resolve roadblocks by engaging the right collaborators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience building enterprise web applications.
• Proven end-to-end ownership of medium-to-high complexity features from design through release and support.
• Strong fundamentals in clean architecture, maintainable code and thorough testing.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines and environment management.
