Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Axi is seeking a hands‑on Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure high‑quality experiences across its trading platforms and business‑critical products. You will design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile using TypeScript, WebdriverIO, and Appium.
• Create automated test suites covering functional, regression, smoke, API, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve execution speed, reporting, and reliability.
• Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and differentiate product defects from environment or framework issues.
• Contribute to test strategy, release readiness, defect triage, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Explore and implement AI‑powered testing tools to boost efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of hands‑on QA automation experience in product‑based environments.
• Strong coding and logical problem‑solving skills with ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross‑functional engineers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
