Senior Public Relations Account Executive

About the role

The Senior Public Relations Account Executive leads client relationships, delivering strategic and tactical communications solutions while acting as the primary liaison with journalists and influencers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑line client relationships and mentor junior team members.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for key journalists, influencers, and analysts.
• Research media interests, anticipate needs, and provide value‑added briefings.
• Negotiate client inclusion in coverage, propose story ideas and benchmark product‑review criteria.
• Organise and lead press meetings, events, and analyst tours.
• Develop and present comprehensive PR plans aligned with business goals.
• Produce professional written materials, emails and maintain accurate databases.
• Adhere to company guidelines on utilization, timesheets, billing and expense reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of PR experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and build media contacts.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Strong time‑management and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines.
• Team player comfortable working with all organisational levels.
• Proficient with standard computer and business applications.
