Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

Gleeds is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of data centre construction projects in India. You will be responsible for planning, execution, commissioning and hand‑over of complex facilities while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire construction team, coordinating civil, structural, MEP, ICT and security disciplines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, design consultants, architects, technology partners and contractors.
• Develop and maintain master construction and commissioning schedules, weekly look‑ahead plans and critical‑path monitoring.
• Monitor performance of consultants, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring QA/QC compliance and timely technical submittals.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, risk assessments and corrective action plans for senior management.
• Control daily site resources to track productivity, identify delays and support claim resolution.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards, quality protocols and data centre operational requirements.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of contract documents, design standards, statutory codes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale data centre or similar infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to communicate project status, risks and commercial implications to senior clients and management.
