Senior Project Manager – Banking (Agile/Waterfall)

About the role

Capco is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead banking transformation initiatives. You will work with product owners, DevOps pods and external vendors to deliver sprint and roadmap milestones for large‑scale financial services projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery activities with Product Owners and IT DevOps pod teams to meet sprint and roadmap goals.
• Manage multi‑team/project dependencies, risks and vendor activities.
• Produce regular status reports for short‑term sprints and long‑term milestones.
• Own and maintain overall project plans, including Scrum planning and forward‑looking roadmap tracking.
• Oversee JIRA updates, ensuring data hygiene and accurate tracking of epics, stories and test criteria.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience managing large, cross‑functional, multi‑geography projects (50+ people).
• Familiarity with offshore‑onshore delivery models and vendor/third‑party management.
• Proven ability to manage risk, issues and resource capacity across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
