Senior Project Manager – Applied

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Applied to lead a portfolio of HVAC and chiller projects in Gujarat. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor a portfolio of 50–70 HVAC/chiller projects across various stages.
• Track project progress, conduct regular reviews, and follow up on action plans.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, log, and report risks, opportunities, and issues; maintain risk registers and issue logs.
• Escalate critical concerns and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
• Ensure execution aligns with cost, schedule, quality, revenue, and customer expectations.
• Support project teams in overcoming execution challenges and achieving milestones.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Guide project managers and execution teams, promoting compliance with company processes and best practices.
• Support schedule baseline approvals, timely deliveries, revenue realization, invoicing, and collection.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large portfolios of HVAC or chiller projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Expertise in monitoring budgets, financial performance, and project risks.
• Leadership skills to guide project managers and execution teams.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and company processes.
