Senior Production Support Analyst – Capital Markets

About the role

We are looking for a Production Support Senior Analyst to join our Capital Markets Production Support team supporting Global Markets Back Office Operations, with a primary focus on Derivatives Settlements and Post‑Trade Processing. The successful candidate will monitor and support business‑critical production applications, ensuring operational stability, timely incident resolution, and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day production support for capital markets applications, monitor batch jobs and service availability using tools such as Control‑M or AutoSys.
• Perform first‑ and second‑level incident and problem management following ITIL best practices, including root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews.
• Support production releases, deployments, server restarts, and execute post‑deployment health checks.
• Collaborate with business operations, development, infrastructure, database and middleware teams to resolve issues and communicate status to users.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks and contribute to automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of production or application support experience, preferably in financial services or capital markets.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to work in a 24 × 7 environment and handle on‑call rotations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.

• Unix/Linux command line and shell scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell).
• SQL and relational databases – Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Windows Server administration.
• Enterprise scheduling tools – Control‑M, AutoSys.
• CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Git, JIRA.
• Middleware and Java application environments.
