Senior Product Manager – Lending Product

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our lending product end‑to‑end, from problem discovery to strategy, delivery and measurement. The role sits within Paytm’s tech‑enabled credit platform and works closely with cross‑functional teams to ship high‑quality digital experiences for consumers and merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Own product vision, roadmap, prioritisation and execution for one or more product areas.
• Translate customer, business and market problems into clear product requirements and scalable solutions.
• Drive products through the full lifecycle: discovery, definition, development, launch, measurement and iteration.
• Lead feature launches and product releases, ensuring strong execution, adoption and measurable business impact.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data, Analytics, Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Marketing and other cross‑functional teams.
• Manage multiple high‑priority initiatives in an Agile environment.
• Own customer‑facing experiences and continuously improve UX, conversion, engagement and satisfaction.
• Use data, experimentation, customer insights and qualitative feedback to make evidence‑based decisions.
• Identify product opportunities through research, market trends and competitive analysis.
• Define success metrics, track performance and drive continuous optimisation.
• Proactively manage product risks, dependencies and execution challenges.
• Mentor and guide product team members, contributing to a high‑performing product culture.

Required profile

• Engineering background (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong product management experience delivering products from concept to scale.
• Prior experience in FinTech, lending, payments or financial services.
• Experience in internet, e‑commerce or other high‑scale digital businesses.
• Proven track record of shipping products and features at scale.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership collaboration.
• Experience leading, mentoring or managing product teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple high‑impact projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
