About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior Process Planner / Assistant Manager to lead capacity and value‑stream planning for its manufacturing operations in Gangaikondan. The role combines technical capacity management, budget planning and risk mitigation to ensure defect‑free product delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and continuously improve manufacturing value‑addition flows, including space, MAE, testing and handling resources.
  • Monitor internal and external requirements, drive cross‑functional projects and raise efficiency toward operational excellence.
  • Establish and document process releases, control plans, work instructions and SPC to guarantee defect‑free products.
  • Estimate, propose and track budgets for personnel, tooling, services and operational expenses.
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate risks affecting delivery, product quality and equipment availability.
  • Lead problem‑solving activities, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions using structured methodologies.
  • Manage MAE, tooling and consumable procurement, ensuring continuous availability for production.
  • Coach teams, promote knowledge sharing and drive change initiatives such as Industry 4.0 upgrades.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic or related engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of process planning experience in the auto‑component manufacturing industry.
  • Post‑graduate MBA or M.Tech and certifications in Quality Management, Statistics, Operations Management or Data Analytics are desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, IE techniques, GD&T, statutory regulations and risk management.
  • Experience with project management, MES/MAS/i4.0 solutions and data‑visualisation tools.

  • AIAG core tools – PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions, Engineering Change Management.
  • Statistical problem‑solving tools – Shainin, 8D.
  • Lean manufacturing techniques – Bosch Production System.
  • Agile methodology and project‑management practices.
  • Data‑analytics and visualisation – Power BI, Tableau.
  • MES, MAS and Industry 4.0 solution familiarity.
  • Use of Bosch internal tool myMeasure.
