Senior Process Engineer – Digital Innovation Platforms

About the role

Philips is looking for a senior Process Engineer to lead process governance, compliance and operational‑excellence initiatives within its Digital Innovation Platforms. The role spans engineering, operations, cybersecurity and quality, driving scalable, compliant ways of working and continuous business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide process governance programs and ensure compliance with ISO, HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across engineering, operations, cybersecurity and quality teams.
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Support audits, ISMS activities and regulatory inspections, providing documentation and remediation plans.
• Mentor junior staff and act as a subject‑matter expert for process‑related matters.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in Process Engineering, Quality Systems, Operational Excellence or Compliance roles within regulated software, cloud or medical‑device environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27018, HIPAA, HiTrust and CAPA processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage change across global teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and executive‑presentation skills.

Required skills

• Process mapping, root‑cause analysis and change‑management techniques.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) and PMP certification.
• ISO Lead Auditor certification.
• SAFe Agilist or other Agile certification.
• Experience with ISMS, audit support and regulatory inspection processes.
