Senior Process Audit Executive

About the role

Cognizant Corporate is seeking a Senior Process Audit Executive to join its Internal Audit team. You will lead global process audits, advisory, and SOX engagements, driving governance improvements while collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support global process audits, advisory, and SOX engagements.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to define audit scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit work programs.
• Execute audit procedures, control testing, and data‑analytics activities powered by AI.
• Ensure compliance with audit methodology and documentation standards.
• Draft clear finding narratives for executive audiences.
• Support AI and automation initiatives within the audit function.
• Mentor junior audit staff and review their work for quality.
• Continuously pursue professional development through training and certifications.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of audit experience in a Big 4 firm or a reputable organization.
• Strong knowledge of internal audit, SOX compliance, and control frameworks.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, MBA (Finance), CFE or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risks, controls, and business processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.
