Senior Process Associate, PTP

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Process Associate for its Procure‑to‑Pay (PTP) function in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end invoice and payment processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution while supporting a global investment firm.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, code and process invoice and payment requests.
• Perform quality checks on invoices and employee expense reports.
• Research and resolve hold or unpaid documents, and follow up on vendor statements.
• Create payment batches, review them and collaborate with the on‑shore team to address exceptions.
• Handle alternative invoicing, reclassification and ad‑hoc requests from the generic mailbox.
• Maintain manual trackers such as issue logs, query logs and exception trackers.
• Record errors, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries via phone and email.
• Support SLA monitoring, prepare SOPs, process flow charts and train AP team members on new procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and contribute to daily metrics and dashboards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
