Senior Principal Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead the design and modernization of enterprise‑scale applications in Bangalore. The role combines architectural leadership with hands‑on development of cloud‑native, high‑performance solutions and requires deep expertise in performance engineering, automation and software quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architecture standards, design principles and engineering best practices across multiple teams.
• Lead the design, implementation and modernization of scalable, secure, cloud‑native enterprise applications.
• Partner with Development, QA, Automation, Performance and DevOps teams to drive quality engineering, automation strategy and production readiness.
• Own performance engineering, including workload modelling, capacity planning and execution of load tests using tools such as JMeter and NeoLoad.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems and lead root‑cause resolution.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience designing and modernizing large‑scale enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven track record of architectural decision‑making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Demonstrated mentoring and technical leadership abilities.
