Senior PLM Engineer – Teamcenter Customization

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PLM Engineer to lead Teamcenter Unified customisation projects at Bosch's largest software development centre outside Germany. The role focuses on extending Teamcenter functionality, integrating with enterprise services and ensuring robust PLM processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement customisations for Teamcenter Unified using SOA, extensions, custom handlers, utilities and ITK.
• Develop and maintain data models and business rules with BMIDE.
• Write C/C++ code in Visual Studio, perform debugging and optimise performance.
• Configure Workflow Designer, Change Management, BOM Management, Classification, PLMXML, Organisation and ACL settings.
• Work with Active Workspace architecture, search indexer and UI/UX elements such as stylesheets, column configurations and tiles.
• Collaborate with MCAD/ECAD teams (NX, Cadence) and support Word macro and Visual Basic automation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in PLM/Teamcenter development.
• Strong problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Teamcenter Unified customisation (SOA, ITK, extensions, custom handlers).
• BMIDE for data model and business rule definition.
• C/C++ development using Visual Studio.
• Workflow Designer, Change Management, BOM Management, Classification & Classification Admin.
• PLMXML, Organisation and ACL configuration.
• Active Workspace architecture and search indexer.
• UI/UX configuration (stylesheets, column configurations, tiles).
• Exposure to MCAD/ECAD tools (NX, Cadence).
• Word macros and Visual Basic scripting.
