Senior Platform Engineer – Azure Cloud

About the role

Join Mastercard’s Cloud Platform team to work with the Azure Platform Engineering group, building automated cloud infrastructure that supports application development and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement solutions to manage Mastercard’s Azure infrastructure via code.
• Engage and improve the lifecycle of Azure platform services from development to deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and drive reliability and velocity improvements.
• Design and develop scalable platform solutions and practice sustainable incident response.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Bash.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Understanding of logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices.
