Senior Platform Configuration Lead

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Senior Platform Configuration Lead to govern and execute configuration activities across its business‑critical platforms. The role ensures that configuration changes are delivered accurately, securely, and in line with PCAOB/SOX compliance and internal controls, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and apply configuration changes based on technical documentation from platform or business teams.
• Validate that configuration input is complete, accurate, and documented before promotion across environments.
• Maintain structured audit trails to support internal and external audit readiness.
• Coordinate global configuration schedules with platform owners and infrastructure teams across EMEA, Americas, and APAC.
• Lead post‑deployment validation to confirm alignment with approved specifications.
• Monitor configuration‑related incidents and support timely remediation with documented corrective actions.
• Identify gaps in input quality, governance consistency, and documentation traceability to improve process maturity.
• Escalate risks or non‑compliance to relevant leads or programme stakeholders.
• Serve as the first line of defence for platform configuration governance, ensuring readiness for PCAOB and SOX oversight.
• Mentor junior analysts to build consistent configuration practices globally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise platform configuration or system governance.
• Strong technical understanding of configuration structures and enterprise workflow dependencies.
• Hands‑on experience with large‑scale platforms such as ERP, CRM, or HR systems.
• Familiarity with internal control and audit frameworks, particularly SOX and PCAOB.
• Proven ability to coordinate configuration changes across multiple environments and maintain detailed documentation for audit walkthroughs.
