Senior Plant HR Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the Plant HR function as an HR Business Partner for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The position focuses on core HR activities at the plant level, with limited emphasis on industrial relations, union handling, and contract labour management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end core HR functions at the plant level.
• Partner with plant leadership on manpower planning, recruitment, employee engagement and HR operations.
• Oversee performance management, talent development, succession planning and employee relations.
• Drive HR policies, processes, compliance and employee engagement initiatives.
• Handle employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions and separations.
• Act as the HR Business Partner for the plant, supporting organizational development and strategic HR initiatives.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in core HR/HRBP functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Current or recent role as HR Head, HR Manager, Senior Manager HR, or Assistant Manager HR.
• Strong stakeholder management, employee engagement and HR operations experience.
• Core HR exposure mandatory; extensive IR, union or contract labour experience not suitable.
• Experience in established and reputed organizations is preferred.
