Senior Piping Stress Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Piping Stress Engineer with 5‑8 years of experience in nuclear pipe stress and flexibility analysis to support critical infrastructure projects in Navi Mumbai.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work assigned by the Pipe Stress Lead Engineer and ensure QC compliance with nuclear projects.
• Perform piping stress and flexibility analysis, including seismic and safety‑classified pipelines.
• Write and verify piping calculation notes and hypothesis notes.
• Utilise 3D models (Navisworks) and coordinate with support and senior engineers to deliver deliverables.
• Dimension pipes and supports, carry out counter‑calculations of flexibility and support, update client‑driven modifications, and produce associated calculation notes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of piping engineering calculations experience, preferably on nuclear projects.
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills with punctuality.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Required skills

• Piping stress analysis using CAESAR, AUTOPIPE, PEPS, PMS and VMS.
• Knowledge of ASME/EN codes and piping design standards.
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, AutoCAD and interpretation of P&IDs.
• Familiarity with MS Office.
