Senior Pharmacist – 7+ Years Experience – Mumbai

About the role

We are expanding our residential pharmacy network in Mumbai and need a seasoned Senior Pharmacist to lead store‑level pharmacy operations. The role involves ensuring compliance, guiding junior staff, and delivering accurate medication services to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions before dispensing medicines.
• Handle regulated medicines (H/H1/X) responsibly.
• Guide junior pharmacists, B.Pharm interns and D.Pharm interns.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and handover of medicines.
• Support WhatsApp and phone order workflows.
• Counsel customers on dosage, timing and basic usage.
• Maintain prescription records and compliance discipline.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, stock levels and substitution accuracy.
• Coordinate with store team, riders and operations to reduce errors.
• Capture refill reminders and follow up with chronic patients.
• Prepare daily pharmacy workflow reports.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Strong background in retail, hospital or chain pharmacy environments.
• Experience in reputable pharmacies or hospital pharmacies is preferred.
• Ability to guide and mentor junior staff.
• Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
