Senior Performance Quality Engineer

About the role

Join Report Hub, Delta Capita's market‑leading regulatory reporting platform, and help ensure the system delivers exceptional performance, scalability and resilience as client volumes increase. We are looking for an experienced Performance Quality Engineer to drive performance excellence across our cloud‑native platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability tests for applications, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, analyse root causes and lead optimisation initiatives.
• Define performance benchmarks, KPIs and service‑level objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps and Product teams to improve platform reliability and client experience.
• Support capacity planning, production readiness and observability initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in performance engineering, non‑functional testing or platform scalability testing.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud‑native architectures and microservices.
• Proven experience analysing application, database and infrastructure performance.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
