Senior Payroll Specialist – Product Support

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to provide product support for our SaaS HRMS & Payroll platform. You will act as the senior point of contact for complex payroll, statutory compliance, and product‑related queries, helping customers in India manage their payroll processes efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver functional support via calls, emails, chat, remote sessions, and ticketing systems.
• Assist customers during monthly payroll execution, validation, approval, and finalization.
• Troubleshoot calculation discrepancies, processing errors, arrears, deductions, and reimbursements.
• Analyze payroll inputs, employee master data, salary structures, attendance/leave data, and statutory deductions to pinpoint issues.
• Bridge communication between customers and internal Product, Development, QA, and Operations teams.
• Maintain comprehensive ticket documentation and ensure resolution within SLA.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Indian payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Ability to understand customer business requirements and translate technical solutions into clear business language.
• Excellent problem‑solving, ownership, and customer‑handling skills.
• Experience working with SaaS HRMS or payroll platforms.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Indian payroll components (CTC, gross salary, earnings, deductions, bonuses, arrears).
• Familiarity with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax, TDS, Form 16 and Form 24Q.
