Senior Operations Lead - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Operations Lead – Financial Reporting will own the end‑to‑end closing of the General Ledger, ensure accurate financial reporting to the Board and parent company, and drive compliance with IND AS and IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead GL closing and quarterly/annual reporting to the Board and parent company.
• Control and maintain the chart of accounts and implement new accounting policies.
• Conduct monthly fiscal reviews with the Record‑to‑Report Head and Corporate Financial Controller.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reviews, trial‑balance governance, and statutory financial statement preparation.
• Facilitate external and group audits, prepare audit deliverables, and support Board‑meeting financial documentation.
• Plan and execute month‑end closing activities, ensure timely sub‑ledger closure, and produce monthly accounting schedules.
• Maintain fiscal governance, internal controls, and close IA audit points.
• Participate in finance‑control projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• CA qualification with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting functions within a medium or large manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2013, IND AS, IFRS, and SEBI regulations.
• Proven experience handling annual audits under IFRS/IND AS.
• Exposure to SAP FI and familiarity with emerging technologies such as RPA, blockchain, and Power BI.
