Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Netrix Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, maintain and support client network infrastructures. The role involves hands‑on troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and ensuring security across a variety of network devices. You will work closely with end‑users and travel to client sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and administer computer networks, including hardware, software, and configurations.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and regular data backups.
• Implement and monitor network security measures to protect data and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Monitor network performance and adjust configurations as needed.
• Collaborate with users to identify and resolve system problems.
• Operate master consoles for real‑time network monitoring.
• Provide detailed recommendations for hardware and software selection.
• Travel to client sites locally and, when necessary, by air.
• Work flexible shifts to meet client demands.

Required profile

• Experience with one or more network platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, Check Point, Ubiquiti, HP, Dell, Aruba, Arista.
• CCNA routing/switching certification or equivalent vendor certification.
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, hardware, firmware and protocols.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation.
• Problem‑solving mindset and quick learning of new technologies.
