Senior Mobile SDET – Automation Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile SDET to lead the design, development and maintenance of our mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS within Nestlé Nespresso’s Digital & Tech team. Reporting to the Automation Engineering Architect, you will ensure the frameworks are scalable, stable and fully integrated into our CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Android and iOS automation frameworks, guaranteeing scalability and long‑term maintainability.
• Define and implement mobile automation standards, shared libraries and utilities for consistent adoption across teams.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Fastlane).
• Support test execution on BrowserStack, device farms, simulators and emulators while ensuring secure, stable runs.
• Leverage AI‑powered capabilities to improve test design, reduce flakiness and enable self‑healing tests.
• Coach Automation Testing Engineers and contribute to Communities of Practice, documentation and best‑practice standards.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies through proofs of concept and recommend adoption.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering or software engineering with a focus on mobile.
• Proven track record designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for Android and iOS.
• Hands‑on experience with Espresso, Compose UI Testing, XCUITest, Appium or equivalent.
• Strong background in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Fastlane) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud‑based mobile execution platforms such as BrowserStack and device farms.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
