Senior Migration Consultant

About the role

The Senior Migration Consultant will be a leading member of Veeva Systems' Professional Services group, delivering migration solutions for global project teams implementing Veeva Vault R&D applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions for life‑sciences companies. This remote, full‑time position focuses on ensuring successful data and document migrations from legacy systems to the Vault environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Vault R&D migration implementations, including document content and object data migration.
• Advise customers on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
• Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists on migration activities and best practices.
• Contribute to the knowledge base to build a comprehensive migration program.
• Guide development of migration tools for the ETL process.
• Assist in project scoping and estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required profile

• 7+ years of implementation, data migration, or integration consulting experience with enterprise software systems.
• 7+ years of customer‑facing technical consulting experience.
• Advanced‑level skills with SQL and databases.
• Advanced‑level skills with Python/Java and REST APIs.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
