Senior Materials Planner Engineer

About the role

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Materials Planner Engineer to ensure a reliable supply of components for its production lines. You will coordinate material flow from suppliers to the shop floor, maintaining safety stock levels and supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule supply of over 1,600 parts to meet production and safety‑stock requirements.
• Develop, implement and evaluate end‑to‑end material delivery processes.
• Manage daily purchase orders, deliveries, and expediting tickets for imports.
• Monitor inventory against target levels and generate supplier delivery forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate material shortages, flag root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production planners to resolve delivery gaps.
• Maintain and evaluate supplier performance, escalating issues to Procurement.
• Process Goods Received Notes, resolve invoicing discrepancies, and support GRN accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess inventory, capacity and demand.
• Ability to manage risks and take proactive actions to protect the production schedule.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
