Senior Manager, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

About the role

This senior product manager owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of the PLM portfolio, translating customer needs, business goals and regulatory expectations into a clear product vision and roadmap that drives design control, change management and digital thread capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global PLM product vision, strategy and roadmap, aligning with business, manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as Product Owner for PTC Windchill, driving capabilities across product data, engineering change, BOM, document control, workflows and lifecycle governance.
• Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Digital Technology to translate needs into scalable PLM solutions.
• Own and prioritize the PLM backlog, balancing value, feasibility, compliance and operational priorities.
• Establish governance standards for PLM architecture, data quality, configuration and release management in a regulated MedTech environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, product management or technology leadership with deep PLM exposure.
• Strong understanding of MedTech/Life Sciences regulations, design controls, quality systems and global compliance.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale technology transformations and managing vendors/partners.

Required skills

• PTC Windchill expertise (product data, change management, BOM, workflow, governance).
• ERP integration experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS or JDE.
• Agile product management and backlog prioritization.
• Knowledge of MedTech regulatory standards (design control, validation, traceability).
