Senior Manager Finance Controller

About the role

As the Finance Controller for L'Oréal Research & Innovation in Mumbai, you will act as the financial co‑pilot for the business unit, supporting strategic decisions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, guaranteeing precision and compliance.
• Track Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and manage capitalization activities.
• Own end‑to‑end budgeting, OPEX and CAPEX planning, and trend analysis.
• Produce high‑quality MIS reports, perform variance analysis and monitor key financial KPIs, including PO management and vendor payments.
• Provide strategic financial advice to R&I teams and ensure robust internal controls.
• Drive special financial transformation projects across the hub.

Required profile

• CA or CMA certification.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A or finance controlling.
• Proven background in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset and stakeholder management abilities.
