Senior Manager – Data Engineering (Azure/AWS/GCP/Oracle)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Manager to lead data engineering teams that build robust, scalable, and secure data platforms on cloud technologies. You will shape end‑to‑end data solutions that enable analytics, BI and data‑science initiatives for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams to design, build and maintain high‑performance data platforms on Azure, AWS, GCP, Informatica and Oracle Cloud.
• Own the full lifecycle of data engineering solutions – ingestion, transformation, storage and delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, business analysts and IT to translate requirements into scalable cloud‑native architectures.
• Drive adoption of best practices for data lakes, warehouses and lakehouses and define technical standards.
• Oversee cloud migration projects, evaluate emerging services and manage vendor relationships.
• Implement data‑governance, security and compliance measures and monitor pipeline performance.

Required profile

• 12‑16 years of experience in data engineering, with proven leadership of technical teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Strong project‑management and Agile delivery experience, with ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
